Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 vs Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 vs Intel Core 2 Duo T6500
Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300
► remove from comparisonThe Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 is a CULV laptop processor for small and light laptops. Due to the small clock speed, the CPU is specified with a TDP of only 10 Watt. For non demanding tasks, the performance of both cores is sufficient. Many laptops with the SU7300 feature an overclocking option to run the CPU at higher clock rates (e.g. 1.7 GHz in the Asus UL series). Compared to the Atom series, the SU7300 is signifantly faster.
Intel Core 2 Duo T8100
► remove from comparisonThe Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 is a mid-range dual-core processor for laptops from 2008. It is based on the Penryn core and offers all functions that were available at that time (e.g. Virtualization VT-x).
Intel Core 2 Duo T6500
► remove from comparisonThe Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 is an entry level dual core processor for laptops. It is based on the Penryn core but offers only 2 MB level 2 cache and a slow clock rate of 2.1 GHz. Compared to the Core 2 Duo T6570, the T6500 does not offer Virtualization VT-x and is therefore aimed at consumer notebooks.
The performance should be suited for non demanding applications like office, internet, entry level video editing or image correction. CPU intense games may be limited by the power of the T6500.
