The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is a mid-range desktop graphics card utilizing the GB206 chip based on the Blackwell architecture. The 5060 Ti offers 16 GB GDDR7 graphics memory with a 128-bit memory bus. Notoriously, the model has more VRAM compared to the higher-end RTX 5070, although with a lesser bus width of 128 bits. 

Thanks to the additional dedicated RT/CUDA cores and new architecture, the card is expected to offer better performance compared to the previous RTX 4060 Ti. The RTX 5060 Ti is expected to be among the faster graphics cards in 2025 and, presumably will deliver good performance at elevated resolution.

According to rumored specs, the GB206 chip is manufactured in the modern 4N FinFET process at TSMC and specified with a TGP (Total Graphics Power) of 200 Watt (40W higher than RTX 4060 Ti 16 Gb).

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 ist eine High-End-Desktop-Grafikkarte, die den GB202-Chip auf Basis der Blackwell-Architektur verwendet. Das Modell bietet 170 von 192 SMs (21.760 CUDA-Kerne) und 32 GB GDDR7-Grafikspeicher mit einem 512-Bit-Speicherbus (1.792 GB/s). Der Basistakt der GPU (Referenzmodell) ist mit 2,01 GHz angegeben, während der Boost-Takt 2,41 GHz erreichen kann. Die RTX 5090 bietet 170 RT-Kerne (+42 Kerne im Vergleich zur vorherigen RTX 4090) und 680 5th Gen. Tensor-Kerne.

Architektur

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 verfügt über neue Tensor- (5th Gen) und RT-Kerne (4th Gen) mit 3352 AI TOPS bzw. 318 TFLOPS. Die Blackwell-Architektur ist die erste mit der neuen DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, die dank verbesserter KI-Fähigkeiten mehr Bilder pro Sekunde generieren kann, während sie weniger Speicher benötigt und eine bessere Bildqualität liefert. Nvidia hat auch die Leistung und die Ausgabequalität der DLSS-, Frame Generation- und Ray Reconstruction-Funktionen verbessert (die auch für die vorherige RTX 4000-Serie verfügbar waren). Außerdem unterstützen die neuen Modelle jetzt den Reflex 2 Modus mit niedriger Latenz und Frame Warp.

Performance

Dank der neuen Tensor- und RT-Kerne sowie einer massiven Steigerung der CUDA-Kerne verspricht Nvidia, dass die Karte im Vergleich zur vorherigen RTX 4090 (dank der neuen DLSS 4 MFG-Funktion) eine bis zu 2x bessere Leistung bietet. Es wird erwartet, dass die RTX 5090 die schnellste Grafikkarte des Jahres 2025 sein wird und vermutlich sogar bei 8K eine gute Leistung liefert.

Unseren eigenen Benchmarks zufolge ist die RTX 5090 in Anwendungen und Spielen 27% schneller als die vorherige RTX 4090 (ohne Berücksichtigung von RT und DLSS). Mit dem Ray Tracing (Cyberpunk 2077 2.1, DLSS Transformer) kann Gaming Performance im Vergleich zum vorherigen Flaggschiffmodell 25% höher sein und DLSS Frame Generation (2x) kann sogar 28% höhere FPS liefern. Dank des MFG 4x Modus kann der Frame Counter sogar 2x-4x höher sein.

Stromverbrauch

Laut Nvidia wird der GB202-Chip im modernen 4N FinFET-Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und ist mit einer TGP (Total Graphics Power) von 575 Watt spezifiziert (175W höher als RTX 4090). Nvidia gibt nun auch die maximale GPU-Temperatur an, die für die RTX 5090 mit 90 ℃ angegeben wird. Das Modell erfordert außerdem ein Netzteil von mindestens 1000 W.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 ist eine schnelle Desktop-Grafikkarte, die den GB205-Chip auf Basis der Blackwell-Architektur verwendet. Das Modell bietet 6144 CUDA Kerne und 12 GB GDDR7 Grafikspeicher mit einem 192-Bit Speicherbus (672 GB/s). Der Basistakt der GPU (Referenzmodell) ist mit 2,16 GHz angegeben, während der Boost-Takt 2,51 GHz erreichen kann.

Architektur

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 verfügt über neue Tensor- (5. Generation) und RT-Kerne (4. Generation) mit einer Leistung von 988 AI TOPS bzw. 94 TFLOPS. Die Blackwell-Architektur ist die erste mit der neuen DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, die dank verbesserter KI-Fähigkeiten mehr Bilder pro Sekunde generieren kann, während sie weniger Speicher benötigt und eine bessere Bildqualität liefert. Nvidia ist es außerdem gelungen, die Leistung und Ausgabequalität der Funktionen DLSS, Frame Generation und Ray Reconstruction zu verbessern (die auch für die vorherige RTX 4000 Serie verfügbar waren). Außerdem unterstützen die neuen Modelle jetzt den Reflex 2 Modus mit niedriger Latenz und Frame Warp.

Performance

Dank der neuen Tensor- und RT-Kerne sowie einer Erhöhung der CUDA-Kerne verspricht Nvidia, dass die Karte im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell RTX 4070 (dank der neuen DLSS 4 MFG-Funktion) eine bis zu 2x bessere Leistung bietet. Laut der Präsentation von Nvidia kann die Karte sogar das Leistungsniveau der RTX 4090 erreichen. Es wird erwartet, dass die RTX 5070 zu den schnelleren Grafikkarten des Jahres 2025 gehören wird und vermutlich eine gute Leistung in Spielen mit hoher Auflösung liefert.

Unsere eigenen Tests zeigen, dass die Karte in den synthetischen Benchmarks 4% schneller ist als die RTX 4070 Ti und in Spielen fast identisch mit der Radeon RX 7900XT (die RTX 5070 ist bei 4K, 1080p und 2K 1% langsamer).

Stromverbrauch

Laut Nvidia wird der GB205-Chip im modernen 4N FinFET-Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und ist mit einem TGP (Total Graphics Power) von 250 Watt spezifiziert (50 W mehr als bei der RTX 4070). Nvidia gibt nun auch die maximale GPU-Temperatur an, die für die RTX 5070 mit 85 ℃ angegeben wird. Das Modell benötigt außerdem mindestens ein 650W Netzteil.
